You've a clean, nice site now? No recips on it and no traffic leaks (where surfers could get lost
cause of blind links for example)?
But you dont know how to make the whole site search engine friendly?
Then read this!
As you've read above, your site must be clean!
TAGs are one of the most important things to target some traffic from search engines.
Use especially:
title tags
decription tags
keywords tags
Be accurate and decriptive, do not use keyword spamming (or just try to not overuse the keywords you stuff in *g*)
Use long titles, stuffed with keywords - but the sentence should make a sense and tell the surfer what he will get
if he clicks on the link. Tease them and tell what they will lose if they dont click - again: tease!!
Use the title TAGs!
You may have seen such strange things like H1, H2, H3 or H4 tags around a phrase, search engines love them and the
spiders will get them well!
For example: put the same phrase you've allready used for the title and put it into the H1 TAGs
Build sites with a lot of text, also stuffed with keywords & keyphrases. They a good spider source ,too!
And the best hint:
Make your own experiments with search engines, nothing is better then your own experience
with them!!
